EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

WHO'S THAT LADY ENT

Derick Thomas represents the future filmmaker like no other. Classic of these days and times, Thomas literally writes, directs, shoots, edits, casts and promote the films all under one roof. With a master’s degree in Communication Studies, Thomas opened his own company in 2001 with an eye on Hollywood. Today, DA Vision Entertainment has become a standard by which other urban filmmakers in Baltimore measure themselves by.
Charm City, the nationally successful title produced by DA Vision Pictures has become a Baltimore urban classic in the town thanks to the fine tuned production skills of Derick Thomas who accredits the streets for much of the movie’s success. Thomas has gone on to direct other titles such as The Heroin King of Baltimore: The Melvin Williams Story and he co-wrote 4 Life and drama starring Wood Harris and Elise Neale. In 2014, Thomas will release his latest UMFF 2012 Best Gritty Feature Film Winner “Raising Wolves” which can be found in REDBOX and Walmart.

Thomas assures his audience that he will bring back classic story telling with great writing and mind blowing plots and subplots. Telling great stories is only the beginning as DA Vision Pictures in the future will dare to tackle action sci-fi and continue to build the brand DA Vision Entertainment.
